Should you Download ApparatusBeside the awful music and some levels can be too difficult for for us non-engineers, Apparatus is a flawless example of addictive and beautiful gaming on your Android device. It looks stunningly detailed and gameplay is addictive and very absorbing. There is vast scope for new levels in the game and the inclusion of a Sandbox mode gives the game infinite possibilities. A top Android game that should keep you occupied for many hours. Definitely try out the Lite version first, but the full version is more than worth the money.

Fun Factor:

Apparatus is loads of fun. There’s so much to do and to try out. The sandbox mode gives you completely free reign to try things out, learn how they work and also create new levels for other users to try for themselves! There is almost infinite longevity here if you want it. The game is almost scarily detailed and the design is quintessentially incredible.

Addictive:

Once you get into the game it becomes very addictive indeed. I occasionally felt the game leaves you to your own devices a little too much sometimes, some hints might be really useful as the learning curve increases. If you have a science or an engineering background, this really fosters that passion and is an awesome game to have. There is so much scope and potential within the game, it could be something you’re addicted to for some time to come.

Graphics:

I don’t say this very lightly, the graphics are genuinely stunning. Incredibly accurate and detailed, you’d be forgiven for thinking it was real. Perhaps only when some of the explosives go off does it appear truly animated. Until then the design is flawless and so very slick and smooth.

Accelerometer, Vibration & Sound:

The sound effects are pretty cool and represent the activity in the level. The soundtrack, which can be switched off, is like a really bad Nokia ringtone from 1997. Repetitive, annoying and loopy- probably not something that aids your efforts too much.
