Should you Download Wild Blood? Wild Blood is a visually mind-blowing action adventure game that is both challenging, immersive and fun. All these factors, however, are sullied severely by the fact that the game not only charges you a princely sum for initial download, but then attempts to extract even more cash from you via required in-app purchases. Sure you can plod on without them, but you know you’re not going to get very far. Overall then it’s a superb game that is mortally flawed. Perhaps it is a growing trend for big developers to do this, but I think Gameloft have stabbed themselves in the foot with this.

Fun Factor:

One extra nugget of joy the app does bring is the multi-player version. Simply create a Gameloft account and log in to fight against other online players (most of whom will destroy you almost immediate). With a little combat practice you do begin to make your own kills and it’s all good fun.
Overall the game is fun, just soured by the fact it is forever wanting you to make in-app purchases.

Addictive:

You need patience to let your character grow very slowly and play the same level over and over as you build resources, it might be something you find addictive- perhaps more certainly on a bright large screen tablet. That said, I’m not convinced the limited resources you begin with are anywhere near good enough to proceed through the game at a normal pace. Expect lots of defeats and set-backs before you get into it.

Graphics:

The graphics are sublime; crisp, detailed and smooth. The game has been built using the Unreal graphics engine so expect buttery smoothness and beautiful richness that is among the best examples of visual ability on the Android platform.
All of this, however, does cost you in available space. At a whopping 2 gigabytes you might need to make room for it before you download the game. If the previous issues begin to grate on you, it may feel like a lot to carry around on your device for limited initial reward.

Accelerometer, Vibration & Sound:

The sound is spectacular, as good as you would find on any high-end console game. It adds significant depth to gameplay and is very immersive.
